Hey, I'm Amanda!!!

I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in pregnancy nutrition and I'm licensed in Idaho, Washington and Montana. I have a passion for helping women nourish their bodies with real food to optimize their pregnancies and postpartum experience. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Montana State University, and I am now located in Post Falls, Idaho. I've been a dietitian since 2013, but my love for prenatal nutrition truly began with my own pregnancy journey in 2021 after realizing the lack of nutrition education given to mothers during this crucial time period. This inspired me to create Nesting Nutrition LLC in hopes of improving prenatal nutrition education and empowering mothers to optimize their health throughout their pregnancies and beyond.

In my spare time you will typically find me in full mom mode – reading toddler books, dancing to silly music and playing with toy trucks (you’ll understand if you’re having a boy haha). I also love going for leisurely walks and bike rides, exploring local parks, and enjoying quality moments with my husband, son, and fur child (Oakley the Frenchie). We love all 4 seasons in Northern Idaho and can frequently be found surfing behind our boat on local lakes throughout the summer, dirt biking in the spring and fall months and snow biking in the winter. My husband and I are also huge country music fans and usually can't pass up a nearby concert.

I feel very fortunate to also enjoy my career to the extent that it doesn't feel like work. I'm passionate about keeping my family healthy through a nutritious diet and exude this same empathy and dedication with my clients. I educate my clients using evidence-based research to ensure optimal nutritional status, and I strive to provide encouragement and compassion throughout sessions.
